Save My Finger vs Prevent My Castration

Carl Valentine's new blog, Save My finger, has been catching a lot of attention lately. The reason is obvious: He's proposing that he will sever his right index finger bets his finger against a heads up match at Pokerroom.com.

Actually, the real wager is between him and a wealthy buddy, and is based on whether or not he can generate 2 million visitors to an individual website by his birthday, April 18th 2006. If he does generate the traffic, he'll go on to play his friend a heads-up mate at Pokerroom.com, where $1,000,000.00 will be at stake.

If not, bye-bye finger.

Another contender has entered the appendage-docking market. Karl Hungus (I doubt that's his real name), of www.preventmycastration.com, felt that a finger just wasn't worthy of such a large bet. He bet Carl that he could generate MORE traffic by April 18, 2006, and if not he will castrate himself.
